Endometriosis is a medical condition that affects millions of women worldwide. In fact, it affects approximately 1 in 10 women of reproductive age and despite it being a common condition, it often goes undiagnosed for many years, with the average time to diagnosis being around 7 years. 

The symptoms of endometriosis can vary widely, but may include pelvic pain, painful periods, pain during sex, infertility, and bowel or bladder problems. It also can have a significant impact on a woman’s quality of life, including her ability to work, socialize, and have children.
